Mr. William Tell "W.T." Williams, 69, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.

He was born in Chatham County, a retired construction foreman, and a member of West Millen Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Friday at the Millen Baptist Church with Revs. David Wheeler and Andy Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Canady Williams; 2 sons, Nathan Bryan (Laurie) Williams of Columbia, SC and Jason Todd (Amanda) Williams of Millen; a daughter, Jana (Shamus) Yandle of Acworth; 5 grandchildren, Wesley and Brett Williams, Joanna, Josiah, and Shamus Yandle Jr.; 3 sisters, Betty (Richard) Crosby of Yorba Linda, CA, Lorene (Raymond) Blackburn, and Gloria (Anthony) Martin of Millen; 3 brothers, Arnold (Sandra) Williams of Augusta, Kenneth (Julie) Williams, and Terry (Debbie) Williams of Millen.

Active Pallbearers will be nephews, Brian Williams, Jeffery Williams, Norman Williams, Terry Williams Jr., Anthony Martin, Jr., Tommy Williams, Matthew Williams, Will Brinson, and Roy Williams Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Franklin Garvin, Jerry Small, Rufus Small, Gene Wiggins, Chris Cliett, Bobby Dailey, Ray Garvin, Chris Chance, Felix Hernandez, and Alvin Burke.

Memorials may be made to Big Buckhead Church, West Millen Baptist Church, Millen Baptist Church or Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
