William "Bill" Edward Wilson, 71, died June 28, 2024. Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 30 at 2:00pm at Millen Cemetery.

Born December 19, 1952, Bill was the younger of two children of Edward Wilson (1924-2021) and Margaret Waters Wilson (1927-1998). Residing in Millen, GA, he graduated Jenkins County High School before attending Middle Georgia College and Augusta College where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Learning how to run a business from watching his father at Wilson Furniture, he dedicated much of his career managing five Hallmark stores before retiring to Augusta, GA. He loved spending time with his four granddaughters, gardening, cooking and spoiling his three dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Edward Wilson, and Brother-in-law, Daniel Smith.

He is survived by son Matt Wilson (Leigh Ann) of Eatonton, daughter Meghan Wages (Brian) of Woodstock, sister Sherri Smith of Millen, and four granddaughters: Emerson Wages, Adelyn Wages, Ruth Wilson, and Mollie Wilson. Additional family includes nephew Rhett Smith and niece Tori Osteen (Jeff, Emily, and Ella Cate).
