Mr. William T. "Bill" Miller, 84, died Thursday, May 22, 2014.

He was born in Rocky Ford, a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a retired telephone technician for BellSouth, and a Deacon of the Millen Baptist Church where he served for many years on the Building and Grounds Committee.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, at the Millen Cemetery with Dr. Cliff Morris and Rev. David Wheeler officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley S. Miller; a daughter, Terri (George) Beasley of Statesboro; 3 sons, Tommy Miller, Gene (Leigh) Miller, and Michael Miller of Millen; a sister, Jackie M. Moore of Millen; 8 grandchildren, Will Beasley, Taylor Beasley, Joey Miller, Ashley Miller, Tyron Miller, Kayla Miller, Kaleb Miller, and Eli Shuman; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Bethel, Henry Young, and Deacons of Millen Baptist Church.
