Mr. Willard Lotis Chance, 72, died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his residence after a long illness.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired heavy equipment operator for Frye Construction, and a member of Dry Branch Baptist Church.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Cardell and Ethel Taylor Chance, brothers, James and Rufus Chance, and sisters, Vernita Morris, Dorothy Barton, and Wilma Beasley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the Dry Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Allen, Mr. Gary Herrmann, and Dr. Ray Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Wesley Wadley, Ron Claxton, Ed Fuller, Larry Evans, Ray Garvin, and Pete Munns.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Harley Chance; a daughter, Sherry Chance Murray; a step-daughter, Janet Collier (Michael); Step-sons, Jerry Eubanks and Kent Eubanks; 6 grandchildren, Jessie Murray, Will Collier, Drew Collier, Alex Eubanks, Julia Eubanks, and Wyatt Thompson; and a brother, Grady Chance (Ann) of Brunswick.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
