Mr. Warner E. Hosey, Jr., 74, entered into rest Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

He was born in LaGrange, GA, a retired textile programmer, and member of Community Worship Center Church of God.

He loved the computer and his pet dog Castle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel Denny Hosey and Warner E. Hosey, Sr., his brother, Clifford Hosey, and great granddaughter, Adelynnn Barker.

Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 2 from 12:00 noon until funeral time at 2:00 pm at Community Worship Center, 417 Virginia Ave. with Rev. Wilma Byrd officiating for a service to pay respects and love to a son, father, brother, uncle, loving husband, and a granddaddy. Burial will follow in the Sardis Baptist Cemetery in Sardis.

Pallbearers will be David Barker, Jerry Williams, Larry Williams, Davon Jones, Jamerson Reese, Antonio Vences, Chuck Carver, and Marlin Scarboro.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Williams and Philip Hosey.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Esther Hosey; 2 sons, David Hosey and Ritchie Hosey of Troup Co., GA; 5 daughters, Dana Hosey of Troup Co., Shannon Glover (Chuck) of Hephzibah, Pamela Vences (Toni) of Millen, and Amber Barker of Hephzibah, and Selena Hosey of Troup Co, 2 sisters, Glenda McDaniel (Paul) and Sue Thomas of Tennessee; 2 brothers, Phillip Hosey (Gail), and Bobby Hosey. Warner also has 4 grandchildren, David Ariel, Kerri and Toni; and 3 great grandchildren, Dustin, Brentlee, and Lilly Mae and several nieces and nephews.
