Wanda Hawkins Stephens, 68, entered her heavenly home the evening of October 4 th , 2021, after a thirteen-year battle with cancer.  Born in Corona, California on July 30, 1953, a few years later she moved with her family to Georgia, where she resided most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother Irma Ruth Hawkins, her sister Nesta Ruth Hawkins, and a daughter Amy Ruth Stephens.

Wanda married the love of her life, Tommy, on December 1, 1979.  Wanda retired from the Internal Revenue Service after a 37-year long career, then in her retirement years she worked as a school secretary at Faith Christian Academy, and a Church Clerk and member at Long Branch Church of God.  Wanda also worked a short while as a Truck Driver, to be on the road with her husband.  She also served at her church through the years in many different aspects.

Wanda was so full of life and love, she brought joy to any room she walked in.  Wanda was a magnificent storyteller with a great sense of humor.  She loved and felt deeply for her friends and family.  Wanda was also a giver, with a kind heart, she was happiest when she was able to give and do for others.  However, most importantly Wanda loved Jesus and served Him faithfully though the years.
