Walton Burke's Obituary
Walton B. Burke, age 93, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at Bethany Nursing Center.
She was a native of Jenkins County, a retired seamstress, and a member of Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Burke was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bob Burke, and sons, Billy Burke and Ted Burke and daughter-in-law, Diane Burke.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Reeves III officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Juanita Kinard of Statesboro and Regis Moore of Millen; 2 sons, Bobby Burke and Fred Burke of Millen; a brother, Jenks Burke of Millen; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
