Walter Lamar "Wally" Brazell, age 64, died Friday, October 18, 2019 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta.

He was born in Savannah, and was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam War. Wally was an HVAC installer and technician and a member of Scarboro Baptist Church. He loved to play music.

A Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Scarboro Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Hearn officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Kate Clifton Brazell; a daughter, Samantha Humphries of Statesboro; two sons, Wally Brazell (Christy) of Portal and Christopher Brazell of Statesboro; grandchildren, Leighann Anderson, Kaitlin Humphries, and Allison Humphries all of Register and Kelli Brazell of Portal; a great grandson, Bowen Luke Shiver of Register; his sisters, Libby Monte of Dover, Melissa Scott (Jeff) of Dover and Jennifer McHeney (Alan) of Tennessee; and two brothers, Michael Brazell (Virginia) of Nevada and Carl Brigdon (Michelle) of Brooklet.
