Violet L. Burke, 85 of Harpursville and formerly of Millen, GA died Friday Aug. 9, 2024 at Guthrie-Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Burke, a son Lester Burke Jr. and 2 daughters, Rebie McMillan, & Vickie Flakes,

She is survived by her children, Nancy & George Mixon, Millen, GA, Susan & Neal Malphus, Guyton, GA, Sandra & Jim Lindow, Chenango Forks, NY, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Gregory, Sylvania, GA and also several nieces and nephews.

She was a retired day care owner of Jack and Jill Day Care in Millen, GA.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Big Horse Creek Cemetery, Millen, GA.
