Mrs. Viola Burke, 72, died Friday, August 13, 2021 at Pruitt Health Oak Bethany Nursing home in Vidalia.

She was born in Jenkins County, quality control technician for Briggs and Stratton.

She was precede in death by her parents, Albert and Norah Burke and brother, Jimmy Dale Burke.

She is survived by her son, James Grady Royal; 2 grandchildren, B. J. Royal and Trinity Royal and 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Leola Bragg of Millen, Mary Poss of Hiram, and Martha Jackson of Portal; 4 brothers, Eugene Burke of Portal, Reamer Burke of Statesboro, James D. Burke and Cecil L. Burke all of Sylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Sunday from 12 noon until 2:00 pm, August 15, 2021 at Crowe Fields Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at West Millen Baptist Church.
