Mrs. Tonya Roxsann Perkins, 45, died Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 due to heart failure.

She was born in Augusta, Ga. on February 25th, 1976.

Tonya was a beloved, wife, mother, and member of West Millen Baptist Church. She was one of the kindest people with the biggest heart. Her true desire in life was to help her family and others in need. What she gave wasn't in worldly possessions or money. It was worth so much more than that. Tonya gave you her heart. Whether someone needed a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a place to stay...Tonya was there doing her best to give and help in any way that she could. She was a caretaker in every way. It was who she was.

She loved movies like "Fire Proof", "Flywheel", and "The Blind Side".  Tonya's favorite song was "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me. Her favorite Phrase she stole from her Mother in Law, Vada Jean Perkins….

"I'll box your ears!" She had an amazing heart full of love, but you didn't want on her bad side unless you wanted your ears boxed! Thank you Tonya for all of the great memories!

She was preceded in death by her mother Glenda Wilson and father Rusty Wilson.

Tonya's survivors include her husband, David James Perkins, her children, Kassie Perkins and fiance Randi Duebbe, Autumn Perkins, David James Perkins (Duncan), Cory Taylor, her brother James Russel Wilson, and sister Charlotte Hillis, and many other family members, and friends who love her very much.
