Mr. Thomas Reuben "Pug" Davis, age 73, died Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his residence after a short illness.

He was born in Burke County, a retired warehouse manager for Farmers Furniture and was a member of West Millen Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm at West Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Allen officiating.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Perryman Davis; siblings, Johnny Davis, Becky Davis Flint, Gary T. Davis, and Pat Davis Roberts.

Survivors include 2 sons, Larry Allen Butler (Ginger), and Justin Thomas Davis; grandchildren, Caleb Butler (Ali), Taylor B. Scott (Jonathan), Katie Butler, Hannah Lee (Spencer), and Cayden Davis; great grandchildren, are Brody, Jessie Kate, and Carsyn; siblings, Jack Davis of Walker Town NC, Wayne Davis of  Pearson, FL, Sylvia D. Baker of Ellijay, and Clint Albert Davis of Millen.
