Mrs. Shirley Sasser Miller, 82, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at G. R. U. Medical Center from injuries received in an auto accident.

She was born in Screven County, a retired Bank Teller for Regions Bank, and a faithful member of the Millen Baptist Church where she attended the Reva Gay Sunday School Class.

Shirley grew up in Woodcliff, and spent her married life in Millen. She was a charitable woman, donating her time to God, her church and her family. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. T. "Bill" Miller.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, at the Millen Baptist Church with Dr. Cliff Morris and Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Terri (George) Beasley of Statesboro; 3 sons, W. T. "Tommy" Miller, Jr., Gene (Leigh) Miller, and Michael Miller of Millen; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the Boch Sunday School Class, Joe Sasser, and others.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
