Mrs. Sherrie C. Sasser, age 56, of 4118 Oak Hill Church Rd., Millen, the Lord called her home Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her residence after a long hard fight with Cancer.

She was born April 29, 1962 in Candler County, was a homemaker, a member of North Jenkins Fire Department and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy V. Carroll Sr.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Jamie Archer and Jay Reppert officiating. Burial will follow in the Sasser Family Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Wally Sasser Sr.; 2 sons, Wally Sasser Jr. (Tara) and Billy Jason Sasser (Lisa) of Millen; her mother, Louise Bryant Moats (Johnny) of Portal; her siblings, Billy Verdell Carroll Jr., Billy Grooms (Tronda), and Stefany Motes (Gerald); 6 grandchildren, Trey Sasser, Shay Sasser, Cami Sasser, Weslee Sasser, Charliegh Sasser and Ryan Troisi; and her special friend, Kelly Thompson.

Active Pallbearers will be members of the North Jenkins Volunteer Fire Department.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dewayne Herrington, Robert Oglesby, and Henry Young.
