Sherley Ann Mock Cooper, 82, passed away, surrounded by her children, on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Sherley was born to K. T. and Frances Mock in Millen, Georgia and lived there her whole life. In addition to spending her life as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she retired from a career as a beautician.  She was a member of the choir and faithful member of the Millen Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, John Thomas Cooper, Jr.

Survivors include her children:  Melody (Robert) Oglesby, Millen, John Thomas (Candace) Cooper, lll, Mooresville, NC, and Cary (Tara) Cooper, also of Millen; her grandchildren: Kirstie, Christian, and Cameron Cooper, all of Mooresville, NC, Samantha Oglesby, Millen, Adam Oglesby, Cummings, and Pace and Luke Cooper, Millen; her great-grandchildren Trilan Dudley and Addilee Williams; her brother Kermit (Joyce) Mock, Chattanooga, TN, niece Terri (Dave) Marin, nephew Greg (Angie) Mock, and several great-nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
