Mrs. Sheila Garvin Hendley, age 78, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her residence.

She was born in Jenkins County, was a retired caregiver, and member of the West Millen Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, Charles and Ruby Garvin by her first husband Charles Hendley, son, Allen Hendley, and sister, Linda Garvin

Visitation will be 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a. m. Monday at the West Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Sirmmons and Rev. Andy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Elam Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlene H. Clark (Jerry); her husband, James Earl "Rocky" Ross; 2 brothers, Ronnie and Terry Garvin; 2 sisters, Myrlene Garvin of Millen and Shirley Frazier of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, Ashley Webb Brown (Riley) of Sylvania; grandson, Charles Allen Webb; and special great grandchildren, Worth, Wyatt, and Waylon Brown.

Active Pallbearers will be Scott Garvin, Nicholas Bragg, Terry Oliver, Lance Garvin, Rodney Gordon, and Larry Webb.

Memorials may be made to the West Millen Baptist Church Building Fund.
