Mrs. Sarah Wilson Newton, age 93, of 4171 Newton Rd. S., died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at MCG Hospital in Augusta.

She was born in Bulloch County, a homemaker, and member Elam Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Elam Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Farmer officiating.

Survivors include her two sons, Garnett (Ann) Newton Jr. of Marietta and John W. (Marcia) Newton of Millen, two grandchildren, Will Newton of Atlanta and Kelly (Jerry) Mickle of Newnan; a great grandchild Laura Mickle of Newnan; a brother, Rufus Wilson and a sister, Dorothy Wilson both of Statesboro; and a sister-in-law, Mary Sue Newton of Millen.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
