Obituary

Mrs. Sarah Reynolds Joyner, 101, of Perkins, died Saturday, November 21, 2020.

She was born August 12, 1919 in Atlanta, moved to Perkins in 1935, attended Commerce High School, a retired supervisor for the Thomson Company after 46 years, and was of the Roman Catholic faith.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gregory and Lucille Peterson Reynolds, husband, Emmitt Joyner, son Jerry Joyner, grandson, Kevin Joyner, son-in-law, Don Tanner, and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p. m. Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Millen Cemetery with Rev. Walter Hall officiating.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jananne J. Tanner of Dublin and Judy J. Hudson of Lawenceville; grandchildren, Greg Tanner, Brent Tanner, Brad and April Tanner, Julie and Mike Ellington, all of Dublin, Kathy and Horace Weathersby and Connie Drawdy of Millen, Michael and Saixin Joyner of Perkins, and Casey Hudson of Lawrenceville; eleven great grandchildren, twenty two great great grandchildren; two great great great Grandchildren; a sister, Rachel Minor (Buster) of Bartow, and several nieces and nephews.
