Mrs. Sara Williamson Getzinger Parker, 87, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Brentwood Terrace Nursing Home in Waynesboro.

Mrs. Parker was born in Emanuel County, a homemaker, and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Jeff Parker and Kimbel Candler Getzinger.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Millen Cemetery with Rev. Wes Lawson officiating.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Getzinger (Ralph) Chance of Perkins; two sons, Frank (Alice) Getzinger of Waynesboro and Daniel Getzinger of Atlanta; 8 grandchildren, Midge (Krystal) Chance, Justin (Leigh) Chance, Anna Getzinger, Katy (Chris) Dalzell, Angela (Alex) Grovenstein, Pete Getzinger, Jason Getzinger, and Danielle Getzinger; and 7 great grandchildren.

Friends and Family will gather before the service at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
