Sammy O. Strickland's Obituary
Mr. Sammy O. Strickland, 85, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Jenkins County, a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a retired supervisor for BellSouth, and a member of the Millen United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce McMillan Strickland.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Millen United Methodist Church with Rev. David Willet officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
Survivors include his 2 daughters, Angela (Glenn) Price of Atlanta and Amy (Tom) Garigan of Evans; 2 sisters, Betty S. Clifton and Annette S. Smith both of Millen; 3 grandchildren, Lauren Price, Spencer Price, and Gracie Garigan.
Memorials may be made to the Millen United Methodist Church, P O Box 750, Millen, GA 30442.
