Mr. S. Paul Rhodes, age 86, of 1467 Rhodes Lane, Perkins, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at University Hospital in Augusta.
He was born in Jenkins County, retired from Planters EMC, and a member of the Ellis Chapel Methodist Church.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 a. m. Friday at the Millen Cemetery with the Revs. Steve Sirmons and Karen Zeigler officiating.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Doris Saxon Rhodes; 2 sons, Phil (Wanda) Rhodes of Perkins and Randy (Susan) Rhodes of San Diego, CA; a sister, Ethel Rhodes Daughtry of Perkins, 2 brothers, Travis Rhodes of Perkins and Marlin Rhodes of Vidalia, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be present and former Planters employees.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
