Mrs. Rose Jenkins Taylor, 82, died peacefully Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Pruitt Bethany in Millen.

She was born in Screven County, a retired personnel manager for Jockey International and was a member of Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Rose was a wonderful seamstress and cook, and was a devoted Christian. Her devotion to God never left her, and until her death she could recite bible verses and say a prayer.

She was preceded in death by her infant children, Lanell Taylor, William Donald Taylor and great grandson, Brandon McKenzie.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am Saturday at Millen Cemetery with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Teresa Ellison of Sylvania and Tina Lane of Millen; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Oglesby, Angie Chance, Vanessa Pierce, Philip Kent, Haley Anderson, Megan Deal, and Bryce Lane; and 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Hazel Jenkins of Swainsboro and Naomi Brown of North Carolina.
