Ronald Hooks, age 83, died Thursday, June 9, 2016.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired highway construction worker, member of Ridgeway Lodge F&AM, and a Baptist.

Mr Hooks was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jerry and Tommy and sister, Edith Willis.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday at the Elam Cemetery. Visitation will be after the service.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Davis Hooks; 2 sons, David (Vicki) Hooks of Richmond Hill and Ricky (Shari) Hooks of Fleming; 2 step-children, Richard Lane Acrey of Murrayville and Reno Dustin Pruitt of Millen; two brothers, W. A. (Margaret) Hooks of Garfield and Samuel Hooks of Twin City; and a sister, Yvonne Chester of Prattville, AL.
