Mr. Robert G. Lewis, Sr., 75, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012.

He was born in Jenkins County, a U. S. Army veteran of Korea, retired merchant, and a member of the Millen Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy and parents, Grady Lewis and Janie McMillan.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday at the Millen Cemetery with Dr. Maurice Crowder officiating.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Robbie (Frank) Ewald of Evans and Denise (Bob) Obringer of St. Simons; 2 sons, Robert G. "Butch" (Rosa) Lewis Jr. of Rincon and Townsend (
Brinnie) Lewis of Millen; 3 sisters, Janie Ruth Edenfield and KimWasden both of Millen and Karen Washburn of Savannah; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
