Mr. Robert Arthur Becton, 81, died Monday, July 23, 2012.
He was born in Jenkins County, retired agent with United Insurance Company and a member of the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the West Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Willis. Interment will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jean Williams Becton; 3 daughters, Becky (Steve) Dye of Hephzibah, Debra (Robert) Dunlap of North Augusta, SC, and Karen (Robert) Guay of Evans; a son, Bob (Rhonda) Becton of Augusta; 8 grandchildren; Stephen (Christy) Dye, Lee (Kelly) Dunlap, Cameron (Michael) McDonald, Chet (Michelle) Dye, Kelly Dye, Emery Guay, Justin Guay, and Trey Becton; 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Doris Young of Millen, Ruth Williams of Statesboro, and Jean Skinner of Sylvania; 4 brothers, Rudolph Becton, Johnny Becton, and Rudine Becton all of Millen, and Otis Becton of Sylvania.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
