Richard Adam Yager's Obituary
Mr. Richard A. Yager, 51, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at East Georgia Medical Center in Statesboro.
He was born in Chatham County, a retired construction worker, and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Adam Yager and brother, James Yager.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday at the West Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Janet P. Yager; 4 grandchildren, Haley McKenzie, Miley Corley, Faith Youngblood, and Kaleb Chance all of Midville; a step-daughter, Ginger Coleman of Midville; his mother, Christine H. Yager; 2 sisters, Marcia Ann (Rickey) Perryman and Lisa Yager of Millen; 3 brothers, Edward (Judy) Yager of Bradenton, FL, Bobby Yager, and Jeff Yager of Millen and several nieces and nephews.
Active Pallbearers will be Phillip Yager, Cody Birdwell, Don Taylor, Tim Flakes, Bill Coleman, and Ed Jackson.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
