Mr. Richard Owens, 78, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Syl-View Health Center.

Born in Jenkins County, he was a retired auto body repairman, and member of Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.

Visitation will 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Big Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; nephew, Jason Williams, brothers-in-law, Johnny Johnson and Gary Trapp; and niece, Rhonda Stokes.

He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Ann Johnson and Dorothy Trapp both of Millen; step-son, Rusty Sammons of Millen; and step-daughters, Pam Sammons and Linda Rosier of Sylvania.
