Mr. Richard Lane, 58, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at University Hospital in Augusta.

He was born in Jenkins County, he was employed by Springmill Plantation, a lifelong farmer, member of the Emmalane Hunting Club, and was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Grady L. Lane, Sr. and Evelyn Pierce Lane, brother, Grady L. Lane, Jr. and sister Gloria Lane McCoy.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Millen Cemetery.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Millen Cemetery with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Tina Lane; children, Megan Lane Deal (Beau), Bryce Lane and sister, Shannon Lane; 1 grandchild expected in February; and 2 nieces, Kristi Lane, and Macy Walker.

Pallbearers will be Derek Lane, Jon Weathersby, Brian Knight, Larry Barron, Bubba Mattern, Kody Lane, Brian Lane, and Terrence Womack.
