Richard Wright Joyner (Paco), age 60, a mechanic and lifelong resident of Millen, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his residence.

Richard loved cutting flips, jumping over cars and generally thinking he was Evel Knievel.  He rode his bicycle all over Millen, spent countless hours hanging out in the yard working on motorcycles with his son Richie Lee, going out fishing with his best friend Judy and spending time with friends and family.

He spent a large part of his career in construction and woodworking before going on to be a diesel mechanic.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Patricia Joyner and sister Marie (Libby) Mckeehan.

He is survived by his lifelong partner, Judy Bolton; son, Richard Lee Bolton; mother, Marie Wells; sister, Jennifer Hagan (David Hagan), LeeAnn Gainey (Nolen Gainey); brothers, Larry Joyner, Felton Joyner (Clarisa Mora), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Joyner, Albert Joyner, Bobby Williams, Mickey Joyner, Branden Griffis, Michael Chance, Jimmy Myrick and James Bolton.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Habersham United Methodist Church in Perkins, GA with the Reverend Butch Taylor officiating.
