Mr. Remer L. Brown Sr., age 84, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Ogeechee Hospice.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired farmer and school bus driver, and was a member of the Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, at the Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Butch Taylor and Bill Barksdale officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Family cemetery.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Dianne B. Arthur of Millen and Debra (Ken) Tanner of Wrightsville; a son, Remer L. (Denise) Brown Jr. of Waynesboro; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lacy B. Frye III, Heywood Frye, Daryl Drake, Chris Drake, Ashley Drake, and Travis Tapley.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
