Mrs. Rebekah "Becky" Gay Bell, 76, of Millen, died Friday, July 24, 2026.

Becky was born in Jenkins County. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was a faithful member of Green Fork Baptist Church. Throughout her life, Becky always sought to give loving words of encouragement to others, both friends and strangers. She deeply cared for people and always sought opportunities to let others know that they were valued and loved. Though Becky has gone on to be with our Lord, the hearts and lives of those she touched through her actions will continue her legacy of love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory Speer Gay Jr. and Faye Turner Gay, and her husband of 43 years, Wyndell Karlson Bell, Sr.

Becky is remembered by her three sons, Karlson (Kathy) Bell, and Whit Bell, both of Millen, and Kevan (Maribelys) Bell of Evans; two sisters, Debbie G. (Louis) Parker of Millen and Shelly G. Magruder of Athens; brother, Emory Speer "Sonny" (Janice) Gay III of Athens; sister-in-law, Cherdale Bell Cross; four grandchildren, Katie Lynn Bell, Kara Leigh Bell, Evan Elias Bell Sanchez and Elisa Lucia Bell Sanchez; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Green Fork Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Norman Parker, Stephen Cross, Speer Gay, Reuben Groover, Hunter Kelly and Mickey Boynton.
