Rebecca "Beckie" Harvill Becton, age 73 of Millen died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her residence.

Born in Rockdale County, GA. she had attended school in Rockdale Co., Jenkins Co., and graduated from R. L. Osborne High School in Marietta, GA. She retired from the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency and was active in the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Millen Better Hometown, and Green Thumb Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Allyson L. Romedy, Grandson Michael R. Becton, and Great Grandson Mason Becton-Bridges.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Rev's Tommy Pulliam, Wayne Bray, and Jamie Archer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Jet Wilson, Dick Wilson, Dallas Wilson, Dean Dailey, Jimmy Johnson, and Ricky Baggett.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Becton; 2 Daughters Jennifer A. Lunsford of Millen, and Michelle B. (Dedrick) Finch of Rocky Ford; a sister, Martha Sue Wilson of Millen; a brother, Anthony "Buddy" Harvill of Dallas, TX; a Grandson Marc L. Becton; Great granddaughter-in-law, Vanessa K. (Bert) Pierce; 7 additional Grandchildren and 7 great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or Children's Miracle Network, c/o MCG, 1120 15th St., Augusta, GA 30912.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Sunday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
