Mr. Raymond Flakes, age 63, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at Optim Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born in Burke County, retired owner of R & M. Auto Repair and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Burke Flakes, parents, Willie and Nellie Flakes, and brother, Lester Flakes.

Visitation will start Wednesday at 6:00 p. m. with Memorial Services at 7:30 p. m. at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating.

Survivors include his son, Mitchell (Crystal) Flakes of Garfield; a daughter, Ashley Flakes (Kaleb) of Collins; 3 sisters, Janet Driggers of Statesboro, Virginia Clarke (Arnold), and Debra Flakes of Millen; 2 brothers, Douglas Flakes of Millen and David Flakes (Patricia) of Waynesboro; and 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor Rae, and Mayes.
