Mr. Ray G. Burke, 80, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at his residence following a long illness.

He was born in Jenkins County, retired from the Road Maintenance Department of the city of Winter Park, FL, and was a member of Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Burke and grandson Mitchell Orr.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Lewis Church Cemetery with Rev. Edwin Taylor officiating.

Survivors include his 3 daughters, Annette Orr (Denny) and Cynthia Dease of Millen, Susan Boykin (Westley) of Navarre, FL; son, Ray Burke Jr. of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren, Denny Orr Jr., Corrina Dease, Margo Dease, Makayla Boykin, Megan Burke, Conner Burke, Taylor B. Flessman; and 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Jean Lane (Quinnie) and brother, Donnie Burke (Geraline) of Millen.
