Obituary

Pearl Reddick Dailey, age 83, of Millen, Georgia, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Friday, May 31, 2024, surrounded with the love of her family at Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Born to Walter and Ida Reddick, Pearl was known for her gentle nature and her love for others. She loved keeping her house clean and spending time with her family and friends.

Pearl was preceded in death by her mother and father Ida and Walter Reddick, husband and father of her children Bernard Dailey, second husband Franklin Weathersby, daughter Janet Dailey Jones, sisters Arnease Cochran, Wilma Lewis, Carrie McKinney, Lavada Nichols and Suejette Joyner and brother Jimmy Reddick.

She is survived by her son Bruce (Tina) Dailey and her daughter Cindy (Wes) Pennington, both of Statesboro, Georgia; son-in-law Roy Jones of Millen, Georgia; grandchildren Ashley Brinson, Meg (Connor) Reed, Jerad Dailey, Caleb Jones, and Allison (Carson) Twiford; and great-grandchildren Cade Oglesby and Morgan Reed. Pearl is also survived by two sisters, Christine (Bobby) Dailey and Wanda (Don) Coleman.

Visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday June 2nd with service to follow graveside at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Millen, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor at Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donahoo Street, Statesboro, GA, 30459.
