Mr. Parnell Knight of Millen, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Screven County, was a retired self-employed building contractor and was a Baptist.

He was so loved by many and will be forever missed.

Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Dickey Knight, father, Floyd Knight, his three brothers, a sister, and stepson, Robert Martin.

Survivors include his loving wife, Rebecca "Becky" Knight; daughter, Julia Flakes (Tim Flakes, Jr.); step-daughter, Jamie Martin; step-sons, John Martin (Michelle) and Adam Martin, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; his Mother In Love, Midge Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
