It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Naomi C. Reid, who peacefully entered eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the age of 87. Naomi was born in Jenkins County, Georgia, and made her home in Millen, Georgia.

Naomi's life was a testament to her deep faith and resilience, unwavering love for her family, and boundless compassion. One of Naomi's greatest joys and accomplishments was her sixty-five-year marriage to the love of her life, Thomas Reid. Together, they built a loving family that was the center of her life. She was a devoted mother to Denise (Kenny) Bragg, Sherry (Glen) Hankinson, and Thomas A. (Roxanne) Reid. Naomi was also a proud grandmother to Alysia Hankinson, Lauren Bragg, Amanda Bragg, Taylor (Joshua) Clearman, John Bragg, Ceara Reid, Bailee Reid, and Connor Luce, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to Annabelle Hankinson and Lily Stanley.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Dessie Clifton, brothers, Norman "T." Clifton, Grady Clifton, and John Clifton, and sister Martha Clifton. She is survived by her brother, Alvin "Bud" (Rita) Clifton, sister-in-law Bonnie Clifton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her talents and passions included cooking, baking, and sewing, gifts she shared generously with others.  She was a woman whose heart overflowed with kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her spirit and generosity left a lasting impact, leaving a legacy of love and hope that will endure in the hearts of many fortunate enough to have known her.

To honor Naomi's wish to be remembered for the person she was in life, there will be no public visitation. A private funeral service for Naomi will be held with family at Oak Hill Church on Tuesday, January 14th.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in Naomi's honor, continuing her legacy of caring for others.
