Mrs. Nancy Blackburn Stewart age 89 died on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at Pruitt Health in Swainsboro, GA., with her loving son John at her side.

Nancy was the only child to the late Nancy and John Thomas Wabuda, She was born on February, 27, 1930 in Waterbury Connecticut. She worked at John C. Wilson Company as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was known for her amazing meals that she prepared for her family and friends. Her culinary skills were exceptional.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Doc Blackburn.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a. m. Friday at the Green Fork Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Paul Curry officiating followed by a visitation.

Survivors include her, sons, Mark Blackburn (Kathy) of Evans, Bart Blackburn (Robin) of North Augusta, and John Blackburn of Swainsboro; a daughter, Sandy Forehand (Annon) of Statesboro; grandchildren, Nick Blackburn, Grant Blackburn, Parker Blackburn, Annon Forehand Jr. (Lora), and Rachel Saxon (Jake); great grandchildren, Tristan Blackburn, Annon Forehand III, Lindsey Forehand, Greyson Forehand, and Jake Saxon Jr.
