Mrs. Myrtle Polk Wilson, age 86, died peacefully Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Screven County, a retired practical nurse for Dr. Wic Hillis, Dr. Arnold Mulkey, and Dr. John Ell Hendley, and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she played piano for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Wilson; sisters, Vera Polk Williams and Marjorie Clayton; a brother, Gene Polk.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p. m. Friday at the Millen Cemetery with the Revs. Tommy Pulliam and Joshua Johnson officiating.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Janice W. Cheney (Roy) and Karen W. Lane; a son, Lee Wilson all of Millen; a brother, Donnie Polk of Newington, 5 grandchildren, Bobby James, Kristi Lane, Caleb Wilson, Falon Cheney Chancelor, Roy Cheney Jr.; and 12 great grandchildren.
