Minnie Lanier passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, in Brunswick, Georgia. She was 83 years old.

Minnie was a devout member of the Pentecostal faith. After many years of loyal service, she retired from Jockey International. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending most of her time at her home in Four Points.

She is reunited in eternity with her beloved husband, Jeff Lanier. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Lee Wilkerson, Robert Wilkerson, Junior Wilkerson, Bobby Ray Wilkerson, and Tommy Wilkerson; her sisters, Jean Sheppard and Catherine Wilkerson Garvin; and her grandson, Christopher Lanier.

Minnie is survived by her sons, Jeff Lanier (Carolyn) and Pat Lanier (Michelle); her sisters, Brenda Hooks (Ricky), Diane Strickland, and Vera Henderson; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation and Service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Crowe Fields Funeral Home in Millen, GA. Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Services will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Millen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Heatter, Houston Heatter, Hank Lanier and Gabriel Guest.
