Mrs. Mildred Christine Lambert Brown, age 89, went home to be with the Lord early Monday evening, November 2, 2015 at Pruitt Bethany following a long illness.

She was born in Screven County, a homemaker and a Baptist.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus E. Brown, Sr. and parents, Hugh Monroe Lambert and Dallie Mae Landing Lambert.


Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 11:00 am at the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Wayne Lambert Brown (Gail) of Powder Springs, GA and Carlton Lee Brown (Lisa) of Valdosta, GA; a daughter, Patricia Ann James (C. W.) of Metter, GA; a brother, Elmer Lambert of Louisville, GA; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
