Charles Michael "Mike" Lane, 76, entered into rest on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at his home in Perkins, Georgia.

He was born in Augusta on May 2, 1946, was a U. S. Air Force veteran, and had a career in Public Safety including being instrumental in the formation of the North Jenkins County Fire Department in Perkins and was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Dorothy Lane.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Lane, daughter, Laura Lane; son, Chuck Lane; 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
