Family will receive friends at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home for Michael Paul Bame Sr., 73, who entered into rest August 2, 2025, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 pm with Father Marc Newsome and George Saxon of East Burke Baptist officiating. Interment will follow at Green Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mike was born on October 31, 1951, in Gastonia, North Carolina to the late Ottie and Kenneth Bame. He was a man of many trades, which included truck driving and he retired as a heavy truck mechanic for Burke County Road Maintenance Department.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Bame, Jr.

Mike was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Patricia A Bame; six children and their spouses; Michael Paul Bame Jr., Richard Bame (Joy), Shannon Norton (Rick), Michelle Reese, Tabitha Bame, and Kenny Bame (Joanie); eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister, Kathy LeRoy.
