Mercidene Owens Jones' Obituary
Mercidene Owens Jones, 76, entered into rest Thursday, August 7, 2014 at University Hospital in Augusta.
She was born in Screven County and a retired seamstress for Jockey International.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p. m. at the Hines Baptist Church with the Revs. Butch Taylor and Jesse Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Jones; a son, Roy (Janet) Jones; a grandson, Caleb Jones; step-granddaughter, Ashley Brinson; step great grandson, Cade Oglesby all of Millen; and a sister, Betty (Bill) Bell of Guyton.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held following the burial at Hines Baptist Church.
