Melrose Hill's Obituary
Ms. Melrose Hill, 73, died Sunday, August 18, 2013.
She was born in Screven County and was a member of Dry Branch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Watson Hill and step-father Russell Eugene Pate; brother, Benjamin Franklin Hill, Sr.; and most recently her mother, Gladys Saxon Hill Pate.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Dry Branch Cemetery with Dr. Maurice Crowder officiating.
Survivors include her brother, Thomas Hill of Poplarville, MS; 2 uncles, Carroll Saxon and Alex Saxon of Perkins; and 3 aunts, Myra Herrington and Jean Davenport of Perkins and Frankie Adams of Savannah.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
