Mrs. Mary Wilson Ambrose, 96, died Monday, November 11, 2019 at Hospice House Waycross.

She was born in Jenkins County, a homemaker, and member of the Ardsley Park Baptist Church in Savannah. She had served as president of the Women's Missionary Union for the state of Georgia, and served as a director of Camp Pinnacle of Clayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Tel Ambrose and all of her seven siblings.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Oak Hill Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Larry Wilson officiating.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sandi Ambrose of Savannah; grandchildren, Kelly and Chris Banks; and great grandchildren, Morgan and Ashlyn Banks; several nieces and nephews including Jean Cowart and Sandra Skelton; two close family friends, Lyn Covenah and Janet Langford and her roommate at Baptist Village, Betty Walker.
