Mrs. Mary Retha Taylor Alcott, 70, died Monday, January 30, 2012.
She was born in Jenkins County, a homemaker and was a member of Holy Church of God of Savannah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Alcott and son, Joseph Alcott.

Survivors include her two brothers, Preston (Rose) Taylor Jr. and Aaron "Buck" (Donna) Taylor both of Millen; sisters-in-law, Frankie Taylor and Helen Taylor; and several nieces and nephews including Rev. Butch Taylor.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Taylor officiating with burial to follow in the Bennett Family Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Billy Allen, Donald Oglesby, David Oglesby, Leonard Oglesby, C. J. Green, and Michael Bolton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
