On February 3, 2013, Tarrytown, GA native Mary Inez Simons Wade, of Millen, made the crossing.
Born December 17, 1913 to Thad and Molly Calhoun Simons, she was wed to Julian Godwin Wade of Soperton on September 22, 1935. She gave birth in August, 1938 to their only child, Julian Simons Wade.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Davis of Savannah, her son and daughter-in-law, the former Diane Kent and grandson, Patrick Ian Wade of Lilburn.

Inez was a member of the Reva Gay Sunday School Class at the Millen Baptist Church where she had also served as a Sunday School Teacher, WOM member, the Handbells Choir, and the Senior Adults. She was a Charter member of the Azalea Garden Club.

Graveside Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 5 at Millen Cemetery with Dr. Maurice Crowder and Rev. David Wheeler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Millen Baptist Church, P O Box 827, Millen, GA 30442 or a favorite charity.
