Mary Lucille Scott, aged 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. Born in Huntington, TN, on July 13, 1936, to the late William Henry and Kathryn Elizabeth Davidson, Mary was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was cherished by her family and will be missed tremendously. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, watching game shows with her favorite cat, and savoring her favorite applesauce. She was an active member of Deep Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "RedCloud" Scott, her son David "Hambone" Cunningham Sr, her stepdaughter Joyce Bower, and two great grandsons, Dre' Scott and Carson Bragg. She is survived by her children, Tina (Jason) Bragg, Ricky (Jean) Forest of Millen, Ga, and stepdaughter Cheryl (Robert) Leimbach of Vermilion, Ohio, along with 14 wonderful grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dr. Kyle Gay, DJ Cunningham Jr., Jason Bragg Jr., Thomas Renew, Seth Bedgood, and her neighbor and friend Dale Suggs. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons Andy Cunningham and Tony Thomas, and her neighbor and friend Mr. Alvin Burke.

Family visitation will be held at Deep Creek Free Will Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 1:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm, officiated by Rev. Butch Taylor. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
