Mary Ethel Messex Jackson of Sardis, GA, resident of Brentwood Terrace Health Center in Waynesboro, GA, entered into peaceful rest on Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

Mary was 86, born in Jenkins County, & was the daughter of parents James & Ethel Messex.

She was preceded in death by her husband Palmer Jackson, five brothers, & two sisters, of which one sister was her twin.

Survivors are her children, daughter Linda Jackson Koch-Rochowiak (Larry) of North Fort Myers, FL, sons Larry Jackson (Elizabeth) of Girard, Lyn Jackson of Augusta, & Timmy Jackson of Sardis, granddaughter Dominee J. Thomas (Johnny) of Waynesboro, grandson Jason Jackson of Charlotte, NC, and great grandchildren Dylan & Megan Thomas of Waynesboro.

The graveside service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Sardis Cemetery, in Sardis, GA, & visitation will immediately follow the service at the cemetery. Rev. Jerry Sharpe will officiate.

Pallbearers are Jason Jackson, Johnny & Dylan Thomas, Jerry Johnson, Adam & David Patterson.
